Hello...
The ACSDC is dedicated to improving the social, economic, and cultural well-being of African and Black communities. We work alongside partners to support African immigrants and refugees, ease their challenges, and build stronger, more connected communities across Canada and beyond.
Celebrate 30 Years of Black History Month in Canada: Excellence, Leadership & Heritage. Join us for an inspiring afternoon of culture, community, and celebration.
The meeting featured inspiring speeches and moments of recognition. ACSN President Kayode Ogunnaike delivered an address after receiving a special award. At the same time, keynote speaker Mr. Yao Togobo, offered valuable insights on community empowerment and systemic change.

La Passerelle-I.D.E. was founded in 1992 by Leonie Tchatat, who arrived in Canada from Cameroon at the age of 16. Leonie identified very early on a gap in services in Ontario needed to respond to the challenges, obstacles and barriers related to the economic, social integration and inclusion of Black francophone immigrants in Toronto.
